I've been thinking about switching the url of this place into it's own domain. What do you  think? it is worth it? is it necessary? would it just mess up your bookmarks? Would it add that much to this place? I'd like to get some input before making any decisions.

For me it isn't necessary, because the site is already in my bookmarks. On the other hand changing the url into it's own domain, cleans up the url. That is a powerful argument, I think.  Smiley

Giving its own domain name would make it easier for most people. And lector is right it would clean up the URL basic web design 101 is to keep the address simple and to the point.
Question are you going to move this page out of the current directory or are you going to have an index page that leads into this forums ?

what else is actually located at luminalala.com? I'm thinking that someone isn't just going to stumble into the forums here without being referred from someone else with a URL or from the Spiral Web
